Oh geez

Today has not been the best of all days.

At 8 in the morning I had to be at the school, luckily not for practice, but this time to help with registration. Before lunch was easy, I got my picture taken, found my locker, then sat at a table and handed out schedules.
After lunch was a different story. We had to alphabetize papers, we had one for almost every student in the school. Brittany (French) and I were working together and once we'd finally get finished, someone would bring us more papers to add to the finished piles. Not fun.

Kim left work for a little bit to bring me home. I thank her very much for that, she also took me to lunch. I have a fantastic sister.

Speaking of Kim bringing me home, I'm the only one home. About 45 minutes ago, there was a mandatory meeting at the school. I was supposed to go and bring a parent along. Just a few problems with that: my mom worked today, she also went to get Brittany in Evanston, Doug is also at work. Those are my two parents. I am not at the meeting. I am not looking forward to tomorrow.

Stupid meetings.

On the bright side, my sister Brittany is one her way here. And I had enough time to finish making invitations and address like 4 million envelopes. This is one of those long never-ending days.

Oh, and I get to go do registration and have practice tomorrow!

Sorry for the many complaints. Waiting for you Brittany! (And mom, and Doug, and Kim....)

Mosaic Monday

This one is for Kim. I know there are blank spaces, but I couldn't find any other pictures that didn't totally ruin the whole thing. I still like it though.

A Song For My Mother

It's to the tune of one of those camp songs....if you have any questions, I can sing it to you :D

I took my mom's (repeat) most favorite hat (repeat)
And gave it to (repeat) our only cat (repeat)
I took my mom's most favorite hat and gave it to our only cat.

(You get the repeats by now..)

The cat it went, to outer space
You should have seen, my mother's face.
The cat it went to outer space, you should have seen my mother's face.

My mom was mad, for one whole year
Because the cat, had disappeared.
My mom was mad for one whole year, because the cat had disappeared.

Our cat came back, without her hat
That night my mom, dealt with that cat
Our cat came back without her hat, that night my mom dealt with that cat.

Now don't forget, before you steal
Your cat could be, in your next meal!

No repeat on that last one. It just ends there. :D

Girls Camp!

I'm home!!!!

I'll just mention the highlights, and the parts that almost made me punch someone :D

Highlights:

The monster twins. My mom gave us all these cute little stuffed animals. I convinced her to buy the little monsters, and I found my two favorites. I decided they were German twins and gave them some weird accents. My mom let me choose who got which ones, guess who got the twins :) Kim and I :D

Joni and Laurie. These are two girls I barely knew before this camp, but now, they are two friends I will have for life. Joni is just a hoot to be around, one of the most fun people I've ever been with. And Laurie, oh Laurie. She is one of the cutest girls I've ever met. She was a first year and asked questions about everything. She discovered her new favorite word is "dingy" but even after asking 200 times, she still doesn't understand it. lol. those two make me laugh.

My parents being with me. It definitely made camp feel like home.

Parts that made me want to punch someone.

Ok, first off let me say that I'm not one to get in fights. I may act like I might, but I never really consider it. Until this week, I was so ready to hurt someone that I had to avoid certain girls.

Namely "Girl A". I can't be too specific. I can in person, but not on the internet. Let's just say we have very different opinions on most things. She seems to have the idea that she knows what is right. All the time. And she feels the need to take credit for everything. She treated most of (if not all) of the girls like we were the most stupid things on the face of this planet. She didn't think we could do anything. That's all I'll say on here. Don't want to get in trouble.

I've been spoiled. Camp in the Rock Springs Stake is different. Very different. Again, that's all I'll say on here.

I'm getting kicked off now, so my story telling is over for the night. But overall, with the help of most of the girls up there and my family, I had a good time. It's definitely a camp I won't forget.

My Version Of Love

Hopefully you know the tune of this song, if not, it can be a nice poem for you to read. My mom gave me the words to the first line. I decided to make more.

When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's amore.

When the sun hits your nose like a big velvet rose, that's amore.

When the stars hit your cheek like a big hunk of meat, that's amore.

When the clouds hit your ear like a giant sharp spear, that's amore.

When the sky hits your lips like Shakira's hips, that's amore.

Idk how to end it. I'm leaving for girl's camp tomorrow, I'll blog about it when I get back. Have a nice week!

Whoops..

As you may have noticed, my song on here did change. You have no options now, I am forcing you to listen to this song. There is a reason for this.

This morning, part of the song popped into my head, so I asked my mom to sing it to me. She looked up the lyrics and we ended up singing it together, we then called my dad and sang a little bit of it on his voicemail.

When we were done with that, my mom asked me who we should call next and I was all "Brittany!" Surprisingly, she answered! What a joyous occasion!

Such a joyous occasion that my mom and I sang the whole song to her. We got very into it and were pretty loud. It was a lot of fun. After we were finally finished, I hear my mom start apologizing.

When she gets off the phone, my mother explains to me that Britt was in class. She didn't want to stop us because we "sounded like we were trying so hard", she says she's pretty sure the whole group heard us.

Whoops.

Breaking Dawn!!!

(Don't worry, no spoilers)

I finished it!!!!!!!

I did read it in less than 24 hours. I read for about an hour last night, about an hour and a half this morning, the whole 4 hour ride home and a little more than two hours after that.

So, I read 754 pages in about 8 1/2 hours. That tells you how much I love these books.

Man, they are amazing.

For those of you who have not read them at all, you should, and since all of them are out now you won't have to wait at all.

For those of you who have read at least Twilight, read Breaking Dawn as soon as possible, like now. I don't know how Stephenie comes up with this stuff, but I LOVE it. I didn't expect any of what was in that book.

She was right though, no matter whose side you are on, you will be happy with this book. She ended it perfectly.

I can't wait for Kim and my mom to read it so I can read it again.
