I'm A True Rawlins-ite

Last night, on our way home from Randolph, we discovered the I-80 was closed after Rock Springs, which is only an hour and a half away from home. So we were not allowed to go home. We had to get a hotel room. Which really sucks when it's not voluntary. I told my mom we are now true Rawlins-ites because we could not get home last night. :D

Other than that, yesterday was really fun. Bryley was blessed and DJ was ordained a teacher. I got to spend most of the day with my second family. It seems like they all grow up so much more everytime I see them. And it's crazy to believe that Bryley is almost two months.

Saturday I made cards while watching the YW meeting thing. Fudge's birthday is tomorrow and Gio's is Thursday. It's worrying my mom a little having everyone turn 16, because soon it will be my turn.

Sping Break: Lazy Day 1

This morning I woke up and realized how much happier you are when you get out of bed on your own free will. My mother was asleep and I didn't want to bother her with any questions so I went ahead and had some ice cream for breakfast. She probably will not be too happy after reading this, but it was really good ice cream.

After that I relaxed a bit in front of the TV. I played some Word Whomp and enjoyed a few hours of the Disney channel. I saw a very convincing commercial for Subway(footlongs are only $5 right now!) and so when my mom told me to get in the car I hoped that was where we were going. Instead we went to McDonald's. Which is fine by me. I knew they had Enchanted toys so I decided to get two happy meals. McDonald's lied to me. The toys were not really from Enchanted. They were princess and pirate toys. I still love them though.

Yes, there's my beautifulness on a lazy day. No makeup, still in PJ's. Haven't done much today. I'm wearing my beautiful tiara, my pirate eye patch, and of course I have my wand made out a piece of cardboard and a straw. What every princess needs. :D

After eating lunch, I called my sister and surprisingly, she answered! After her being confused with my many sentences right after another on different subjects, we ended that conversation. I will have to call her back later. Oh, while I was on the phone with her I swept and accidentally threw a drink across the room.

That's pretty much it for now. I'll most likely be on the computer, eating and watching TV for the rest of the day. Nothing more exciting than spring break! :) I hope you all have a one-of-a-kind day! Eat something healthy.

It's Not Over, I'm a Gangsta and More Firsts Comin Up

That's right-it snowed again today. I know, what a bummer, I was thinkin the same thing. The wind is very crazy today, which brings to my next subject. The wind blew off a piece of my house today, so I put on my jacket and went to get it. I am wearing my whole warm-up suit thing from cheerleading so when I put the hood up, I discovered I'm a true gangsta.

Kim and I ventured down the road to get this missing piece of house and when we reached it, we grabbed it and I told her "RUN SO IT LOOKS LIKE WE'RE STEALING IT!" (we have to yell to be heard over the wind). So yes, I was a true gangsta today, I imagine we have scared neighbors now that will probably be moving soon. Oh well.

Yesterday it was ping pong, today it shall be tennis. Well, not today. But today is when I made the decision. This next school year I will be playing tennis. One of the other cheerleaders played at this year so I asked her about it. So she convinced me that I want to play and we got Brittany to want to also. So Brittany and I will be on a doubles team next year. It will be very interesting because, again, neither of us have ever played before. Caitlin said it's ok because she hadn't either before she joined.

Cookies and Ping Pong

I am making cookies right now! They don't make chocolate chip cookies without the chocolate chips so I'm making the regular kind. They're cooking as I'm typing so I will keep you updated.

Today was short day so school went by very quickly. You may be wondering why ping pong is in the title of this blog, well wonder no more, I will tell you. Today, for the first time in my life, I played ping pong! It was in P.E. and we were playing doubles, the four people at our little table thing had never played before so it was an interesting learning experience that we all went through together. My team won 25-18. The reason why we're playing ping pong now is because our class gets too agressive during hockey. We're not allowed to play that game for the rest of the year. Makes me a little sad, I actually enjoyed that game. Oh yes, but now you know what the ping pong is all about.

Tomorrrow is the last day of school for the week! That excites me.

My mom wanted me to mention something that made her laugh last night. I will because she has not been feeling good. We were eating dinner and Kim was telling me a story. I do not remember any of the story because while she was telling it, her half chewed dinner was staring at me from the inside of her mouth. It was grossing me out so I said "It'd be cool if you swallowed" my mom thought that was very funny I guess because she laughed for a very long time. Her laugh was contagious, I wonder how weird it would've looked to someone outside, because we were all trying to eat, but were laughing too hard. That was a good moment.

Ok, I think I'm very upset with these cookies. They are supposed to cook in about 8 minutes and I swear they've been in there for at least 17. Ok that batch is finished, but I'm setting the timer for 13 minutes on this next one. I don't enjoy getting up every two minutes to check cookies that aren't cooking.

Back to the manner of laughing, I remembered something about me that my sister pointed out. Whenever I laugh I eat/drink whatever I can very quickly. Brittany finds it ridiculous but she likes watching it so I thought I would share that with you all.

Mmmmm, I discovered something that I think everyone should try. They are the root beer float cups from the Schwan's man. I did not even like root beer floats very much before I tried these things but I love them now. They are very addicting and I think I should add them to the list of my favorite things.

Ow hot spoons are not fun to hold in your hand, I don't recommend trying it. You will probably say ow and drop it. Anyone who has ever done it is most likely nodding their head right now agreeing with my wisdom.

Oh my mother looks beautiful today. She is wearing a nice new green shirt. I like it on her.

My sister pointed out to me that I never said how the musical went. So I guess I have to write about that now. The musical went great, in one of the scenes Myrissa's shoe fell off so that was a funny moment. I loved wearing all of my 80's clothes, I think I would've been a good 80's teenager. Too bad I will never know.

I think I'm tired of writing now, I cooked my cookies for about 30 seconds too long, but other than that they are delicious. Have an amazing day!!!!!!!!

Goodbye Winter!!!

It's raining in Rawlins today! This is excites me a lot and do you know why? Because it means it's too warm for snow. I am pretty much the happiest girl in the world right now. :D

Last night the cheerleaders got to paint faces at a family night at RHS. It was mucho fun. My friend Brittany drew a "scorpion" on my right arm,

a heart on my right thumb,

and a spider on my left hand. I had matching tattoos with my dad for a few hours. It made me a happy girl.

I just went outside. No more rain :(

I have been drawing comics lately about funny things that have happened in my life. I will try to scan them so you all can see. If you want me to draw one for you, just let me know of the story and I will come up with a good one for you. This is my new hobby.

Oh! Last week my mother bought me the greatest movie of all time. Enchanted. I recommend this movie to anything that breathes, it is amazing and I love it. I will have to put up video clips from it. I am going over to my friend Kelsey's house to watch it soon.

Spring break starts on Friday, I'm super excited because I get to come to Utah! This means I get to see my two sisters, they are the best.
