Radiant

Listen! Can you hear it?
The phone's ringing!
Could it be Britt?
I spring from my chair,
High in the air,
And land on my feet!
Isn't that neat?
Turns out I was wrong,
It was not the phone's song.
Maybe she'll call next week :(
